With the aim of promoting scientific acumen and equip the learners with 21st century learning skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, a Science Model Making Competition was organised for the students of Middle School (Grade VI, VII, VIII) of MRIS -46, Gurugram. The students made environment friendly and cost effective models which had real life application. The event received overwhelming response from the students. As many as 70 teams participated in the competition and showcased their unique models like automatic street lights, mechanical hand, saw cap, solar boat, portable refrigerators, generator, solar cells, solar panels etc to name a few.
The students demonstrated functioning of models in an impeccable manner and impressed the judges with their exemplary explanations. The event was a tremendous success.
