Run- Because Cancer Research Cannot Stop!

The annual Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event conducted across 600 cities in 53 countries to raise money exclusively for cancer research. Terry Fox was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18.  In the year 1980, he ran 5373 kms in 142 days, with a prosthetic leg, in an attempt to generate awareness and collected 24 million towards cancer research.

The Doon School, Dehradun in association with Indo-Canadian Cancer Research Foundation, hosted the 11th Annual Terry Fox Run on 14th April, 2023 in their city inviting participants across the country to support this noble cause. With an aim to contribute to the society and raise empathetic youth, MRIS 46, Gurugram participated in the event wherein 8 of our senior school students, Abhimanyu Lamba, Ansh Tripathi, Sanyam Sharma, Tanish Choudhary, Arnav Saxena, Yash Goel, Priyanshu Singh and Krishiv K. Chauhan, ran the Marathon of Hope.

We appreciate the enthusiasm of the participants and continue to support endeavours that benefit the society at large.
