If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader…

MRIS 46 conducted the Investiture ceremony where the new Student Council 2019-20 took oath amidst cheering parents, enthusiastic teachers and encouraging peers. The little ones set off the celebrations through a foot tapping rendition of the song, aptly chosen for the occasion. The song titled ‘Celebrations’ had the audience enthralled and swinging to the beats! The occasion was graced by Director Principal, MRIS 14 Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, as the Chief Guest.

The Junior and Senior Student Council members, all immaculately turned out, took the oath as read by Director Principal MRIS 46, Ms. Dhriti Malhotra. The clan contingent along with four clan Mentors, Associate Mentors, Clan Chief, Vice Clan Chief, Secretary and Catalysts came forward to swear in as the new heads of the clans. With that the baton of commitment, duty and leadership was handed over to the next generation. Hence, a new generation of Council members took the reign and heralded a new beginning.

Full of determination and valour, Head Boy, Gautam Chandra and Head Girl, Bhavika Kataria addressed the gathering, envisaging to work according to the vision and mission of school. They not only radiated confidence but also emitted zeal and commitment.

Chief Guest, Ms. Wadhwa in her address congratulated the students and motivated them to take things in their stride. She also expressed her expectation that students will lead with exemplary character, enthusiasm and commitment. The ceremony came to end with dance on a song by Rabindranath Tagore in Maithili language.
