A voracious reader and qualitative researcher, Dr. Chhavi Jain is the senior librarian at MRIS-46. With her rich experience of 24 years, she developed the prototype for National Digital Library for Indian Government Publications as a research project. She has also been instrumental in organising various seminars and workshops for professional development of school librarians at National and International level. 

 In recognition of her matchless contributions in the field of Library and Information Science, Dr. O P Bhalla Central Library, MRIIRS in association with Delhi Library Association and Library Association of Bihar proudly conferred “Best Practicing School Librarian Award- 2023” to Dr. Chhavi Jain on the occasion of International Conference on Recent Trends in Academic Libraries : Systems and Services at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad.
