WORLD TELEVISION DAY- MRIS 21C

WORLD TELEVISION DAY- MRIS 21C creates opportunities for ensuring learning for its students, through a variety of activities, events, celebrations or assemblies…all conducted with an integrated approach.

In order to highlight the role that television plays in communication and globalisation, and to commemorate the date on which the first World Television Forum was held, students of MRIS 21C presented an assembly on World Television Day, which is celebrated on 21st November every year.

Students shared the significance of the day which stands as a reminder of the power of visual media in the world and how it helps in shaping public opinion.

The students used various mediums of song, dance and enactment to get their idea across in the most engaging manner. The throwback to the Doordarshan days certainly was a walk down the memory lane and was a reminder of simpler times.

The assembly brought to fore the fact that any technology used wisely as well as effectively can be a great advantage, and provided a wonderful learning experience for students.
