Students of MRIS-21C, Grade I were taken to the Department of Culinary Arts at Manav Rachna International University where they understood the preparation of flour from grains, coffee powder from coffee beans, they learnt to make soups and juices and also understood the process of making finished chocolate from mixing granola, cornflakes, cranberry, pumpkin seeds, oats, nuts and compound chocolate.
Students visited the kitchen wherein they observed the working of various machines and ovens used for making puffs, bread and cakes. They tasted the granola mix, had cake slices which were made of millet and soya bean flour and had an amazing and fun learning experience.
