Project Work on Plastic Free surrounding based on UNSDG 15 – ‘Life on Land’

Grade I students of MRIS-21C Faridabad participated in an annual Project Work on Plastic Free surrounding based on UNSDG 15- ‘Life on Land’, wherein the usage of plastic was discussed. A video “Here’s why plastic is so much worse than you think” was shown to children. Children summarized events from the video and discussed with peers and teachers. It was about how plastic harms us and is killing animals, aquatic as well as terrestrial. They collected various materials to create awareness about the plastic items through an activity. They pasted the same on an old newspaper. Moreover, students also express their responses by giving expressions on the paper with the help of paints. All in all, it was a very interactive and enriching session, which will continue the quest for doing their bit for the environment.
