- This was the first-of-its-kind Family Day event in the city of Faridabad
- Baby Show, Talent Hunt, Yesteryear Games, Granny’s Kitchen enthrall audiences
Manav Rachna International School (MRIS), Sector 21-C Faridabad organized a ‘Family Day Out’ at its campus. More than 300 families (around 500 people) took part in the unique selection of activities.
Each nook and corner of the school came alive with the colourful ensemble comprising Granny’s Kitchen, Adventure Zone, Sports, thinking hats, skilling activities.
Celebrity judges Ridham Dutta (Actor & Model), Deepinder Singh (DS Design Lab), Charu Shankar (Actor) and Nishi Bhardwaj (Miss India International Haryana Finalist) added sparkle to the event. There was a talent show for parents and children where mono-acts, dances, songs, and jokes were showcased by the participants.
The baby show was high on its cuteness quotient. Best performances in the Baby Show and the Talent Hunt were awarded hampers and attractive prizes.
The Granny’s kitchen where everybody got the chance to savour makki ki roti, bajre ki roti with gur and assorted chutneys …freshly cooked on the chulha was the highlight. Many people went away with prizes in the lucky draw. Stapu, Gilli Danda, Pitthu and many other yesteryear games gave a glimpse to today’s youngsters of the games their parents played. Skilling and several literary activities engaged the children and ignited their creative minds.
Ms. Seema Malhotra, Principal MRIS 21-C thanked all the participants and the team of the school for putting up a brilliant show.
