‘The best way to multiply your happiness is to share with others’
With this thought in mind, the Art teacher, Ms. Kanika Mathur along with the volunteers from MRIS-14, Faridabad, conducted an ‘Art and Craft’ activity for the students of Govt Girls’ High School, Mohna Village, under the aegis of Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation.
They taught the art of Rakhi making and Thali decoration to the children there, with a purpose to make the upcoming festivals beautiful for them. All the students from Grade VI to X excitedly participated in the activities and were delighted when they were told to take the decorated Rakhi and Thali home, to use them on the festival day.
Not only this, the volunteers from MRIS-14, Faridabad also spread the message of “Green India” by planting saplings in their school premises. It was a great feeling for all the children as it is believed that, ‘Do your little bit of good whatever you can, it is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world’.
