‘A Nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the souls of its people’

To salute the unique quality of India i.e. “Unity in Diversity”, MRIS-14, Faridabad  organized ‘The Indian Lok Geet Competition’ where the kids presented the famous folk songs of different states of India such as  Gujarat’s “Bhumbro”, “Ekla Cholo re” from the “Land of Joy” and Punjab’s “Chhalla ho”. The whole premises witnessed the joy, fun and frolic as the air was filled with regional folk songs of different states of India.

It looked like the whole country had gathered under one roof in its various forms carrying her deep-rooted and rich heritage in her hands. Everyone was spell bound with the mesmerizing performance of the kids spreading the message of love, kindness and unity. It was very difficult for the honourable judges to choose the winner out of different colours of Rainbow.

The programme concluded with the inspiring words of the Ms. Nidhi Garg, the co-scholastic incharge. She also praised the effort of the students and teachers.
