Guru Purab Special Assembly

A sense of peace and tranquility filled the air as the school celebrated Gurupurab, to mark Prakash Utsav, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. The students of Grade IV F prepared a medley of activities on this occasion to commemorate and remember the birth and philosophy of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism.

A pious atmosphere was created by the shabad sung by the children. A short skit highlighting the “Value of Life” emphasized upon the teachings of the first Sikh Guru. Dressed as various characters the gifted students upheld the Guru’s simple principles of life. The students presented a mesmerizing dance performance and sang melodious devotional songs.

The assembly was graced by Director Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa; Vice principal, Ms. Monika Kathuria and Procter Sir, Mr. Verma. Last but not the least, some students, who brought laurels to the school were felicitated for their victory and participation in various scholastic and non-scholastic activities. It was a spiritual morning where the students learnt that one has to follow the right path of sewa and simran to seek the blessings of the Almighty.
