“Our life is impossible without air and so does science without experiments”
At Manav Rachna, through science projects we develop child’s resourcefulness, particularly their skills at goal setting, planning and problem solving. We ensure that the intellectual curiosity of our children is nurtured and they acquire new ways of asking questions and exploring the world. During one of our sessions, we introduced our Grade 3 students with the topic “Air” and involved them in various experiments and thereby, added on to their knowledge. The students experienced various experiments based on the properties of air wherein they made a Paper Whirlybird which emphasized on how air helps in moving things and how air helps things burn by conducting an activity based on “Candle and Jar”.
The students also visualized how air occupies space through the inflated and deflated balloon experiment showcasing that the air is an integral part of us. The students showed great interest and excitement during the sessions and even went way ahead in discussing the same with their parents. The activities conducted show a step ahead to the education and propagates that learning can be so much fun.
