MRIS-14 Faridabad celebrated Diwali through various kinds of activities including singing, dancing, street plays, group dances and songs. Through each and every activity they conveyed the message of celebrating ‘ECO FRIENDLY DIWALI’. Children made earthen diyas, Paper lanterns, rangoli, toran and decorated Thali too. They also decorated their class rooms spreading the fervor of the festival. Students participated in Inter Clan Rangoli competition and Inter Clan Non Flame Cooking Competition.
The Junior School Student Council shared their happiness with the members of ‘Old age Home’. They sang bhajans for them and shared sweets. Not only this, the members felt very touched when these children decorated the old age home with handmade lanterns, diyas and rangoli. It uplifted the whole arena.
The school is associated with NGO #Prabhat and always comes forward to help and visit them. #Diwali was the appropriate occasion where they could help in raising funds by buying their handmade articles.
Pre Primary kids clad in their ethnic wear welcomed Nard Muni on stage to witness the colorful programme. The tiny tots not only danced and sang but also promised to have green and safe Diwali.
The Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa congratulated the participants & conveyed her good wishes for Diwali and empowered the students to make a difference in someone’s life by practicing the pollution-free Diwali..
A short pledge to celebrate Diwali in a clean and green way was taken by the students to embark on their concern for the environment and become the future ambassadors of saving the world.
