Celebration of International Nelson Mandela Day and Tolerance

Celebration of International Nelson Mandela Day and Tolerance

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”
― Nelson Mandela

Grade 8 learners of MRIS-14 Faridabad commemorated the real paladin, Nelson Mandela, in a special assembly. The dexterous artists of Grade 8 effervescently showcased a skit evincing the struggle of Nelson Mandela, the  first President of South Africa and how he inculcated the real sense of ‘Tolerance’ through non – violence. This legend and world leader was glorified further in a visual clip shown to the audience which was really inspiring for all. The solo classical dance left everyone breathless. The music choir galvanized the audience to be a force of good and tolerance. The programme reached its denouement with an educative talk show sensitizing the naïve learners about the conviction and dedication of this great personality. Vice Principal Dr. Shalini Bindra exalted the efforts and teamwork of the students.
