Dance is a universal language that transcends barriers of language,  culture and background. On April29, 2024 Manav Rachna International School Charmwood embraced this spirit of unity and celebration by commemorating World Dance Day with an array of vibrant activities and performances.

The students of Early Years gathered to celebrate World Dance Day through a special assembly. They honored the rich tapestry of global dance traditions.

The students of Middle Wing (IV-VII) enjoyed the day with a Western Dance Workshop by Mr Sumit and Ms Purvi. The students of Grade VIII got the opportunity to attend a Workshop conducted by Shri Mayukh Bhattacharya who is a renowned classical dancer and is a disciple of Pandit  Birju Maharaj ji. His demonstrations of the Kathak dance was a testament to the power of movement to express emotions, tell stories and foster connections.

Beyond the dazzle and spectacle, World Dance Day at MRIS CW served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of our culture and also of the cultural diversity and inclusivity
