Students turn reporters for a day

Students turn reporters for a day

As part of their LL/English curriculum, students of Grade V at MRIS Charmwood interviewed members of the administration staff. The students played the roles of TV reporters, technicians and camera persons, made props like cameras, lights and spoke to staff members about their life experiences. This experiential activity improved the language and vocabulary of the students, enhanced their listening skills and gave them a first-hand account of how interviews are conducted by various news channels.
