Students of Grade X, MRIS-Charmwood visited the beautiful city of Udaipur recently. They were excited throughout the trip as every monument of Udaipur and Chittorgarh fascinated them with its beauty and historical importance. On the first day, Day-1 students visited City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 places, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics. They also visited Sahelion ki Bari and Jagdish Temple. The day ended with fabulous Puppet show at Lok Kala Mandal followed by delicious dinner.
Day 2: Students visited Chittorgaarh Fort, a vast hilltop complex with remains of many temples and monuments. They also visited Vijay Stambh made of red sandstone and white marble. The second day also ended with an entertaining DJ night followed by dinner.
Day 3: Students pruchased gifts and souvenirs for their family members.
The trip to Udaipur and Chittorgarh gave students the chance to know the history of these places well. Students explored new sites, and were curious to know about the historical background of these places. Altogether, it was a memorable trip for everyone!
