Storytelling for children is a magical journey into imagination and learning. It sparks creativity and curiosity, encouraging kids to explore their own ideas. Continuing with the journey of Joyful Learning, MRIS Charmwood organised a Storytelling Session for the tiny tots of Early Years – Grade 1 along with their parents on September 2, 2023 to help children develop language skills, vocabulary, and a love for reading and to enlighten parents on the benefits of reading to children. The session was conducted by Ms.Ritika, a children’s author, a storyteller, a conscious parenting coach and an ed-tech evangelist. It was an enriching storytelling session on her own book, ‘ Owlie and Pecky’. In a digital age today, storytelling remains a timeless and essential tool for childhood development.
