Plantation Drive Part of Annual Project 2

“A man doesn’t plant a tree for himself. He plants it  for posterity.” — Alexander Smith

As a part of Annual Project 2 (Quality Education and No Poverty, Zero Hunger), students from Grades I to V at MRIS Charmwood participated in a Plantation Drive in school. The children have been learning about the perils of deforestation especially its impact on the global climate conditions. They got saplings of various varieties and planted them in the school campus while taking a pledge to ensure an optimum green cover for our beautiful planet.
