The aura of Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood reverberated as young folks of Delhi-NCR schools danced on the beats of Indian folk songs at Inter-School Folk Dance Competition- ‘ULLAS- 2018’ today. Onset of Harvest Season, Festivals, Bride & Bridegroom, and Folklore were the amazing themes of the competition. Commenced with the traditional lamp lighting, Ullas-2018 witnessed the participants from 23 schools of Delhi-NCR including MVN, Aravali Hills; Aravali International School; Presidium School, Gurugram; Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad; and DPS, Sushant Lok.

The fun filled extravaganza offered folk dance forms of Odisha, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, and other states. The rhythm, choreography and presentation by all the students were par excellence. The excitement to highlight the cultures of our beloved country was evident in every single move of the dancers. Furthermore, the attractive and colourful costumes, and fluid dance moves complemented the performances. All the participants were appreciated with loud applause. Winners were awarded with participation certificates and Trophy.
