MRIS, Charmwood Celebrated DASTKAAR MELA to mark Diwali

The Interact Club of MRIS, Charmwood organized their annual Diwali Mela, DASTKAAR MELA (under Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation) on 31st October and 1st November, 2018.

Students showcased their creativity by displaying self-made artefacts like Torans, Decorated Diyas, Candles, Table Rangoli, Stencils, variety of chocolates and much more.

Selling these items helped students learn the significance of managing time, money and dignity of labour. It also inculcates social values in students and promotes the habit of sharing and caring for others and working towards the betterment of the society.

Ms. Sujeta Gera and Ms. Meenu Gupta from the Rotary Club of Faridabad Greater appreciated the efforts of students and teachers in organizing the mela.

Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm.

The Principal, Ms. Arpita Chakraborty congratulated the students and teachers for their hard work and team spirit that made the mela a great success.

The proceeds from the sale will be utilized to help various NGOs.
