Education is not restricted to the attainment of knowledge… it outshines in our behaviour, attitude and dealings with whatever life brings to us! At Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood, we tap the potential of our students holistically by tapping various learning domains like cognitive (learning abilities), psychomotor (physical activities) and affective domains (values, beliefs, attitudes).
At our playground of education, we not only focus on academics but also provide students a platform wherein they can manage their emotions, practice conflict resolution and handle stress. The gateway to this is our approach to life skills covered in the subject termed ‘Soft Skills.’ In the maddening rush of information and technology, we need to introspect and be more cautious of our emotions and expressions.
Soft Skills
MRIS Charmwood conducts soft skills sessions which inculcate positive attributes in students like practicing gratitude, being empathetic and appreciating others. MRIS Charmwood believes in nurturing value education in children. Manav Rachna is a place which aspires to create better human beings, where young minds are trans ‘formed’ to take onus of their actions and think about results and their impact.
Annual Projects
Annual Projects are a progressive approach to students’ creative and analytical abilities wherein they become aware of global issues under the United Nations Sustainable Developmental Goals (UNSDG).
Where soft skills suffice the emotional, social and spiritual needs of the children, the concept of Annual Projects has catered to the needs of thinking beyond their horizon and bringing solutions to global issues at their own level. Critical issues like ‘Plastic-free environment’ and ‘Water crisis’ are introduced to students at as early as they are 3-5 years of age.
Community Outreach
Our Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla strongly believed in serving humanity and connecting with the community at large. As a continuation of his rich legacy, the school’s Interact Club regularly organizes Blood Donation Camps in association with the Rotary Club of Faridabad. The “Ek Mutthi Daan” initiative under the aegis of the Dr O.P. Bhalla Foundation ensures that ‘No one sleeps hungry’ and provides rice to orphanages and old age homes.
