The vibrant corridors of Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, recently came alive with the sounds and sights of French culture during their annual La Fete Francaise. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Nidhi Sharma, Head of the French Department at Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh. An accomplished author and Vice-President (North Zone) of AIFPRO, Ms. Sharma spoke passionately about the diverse career opportunities for French learners and praised the students’ impressive presentations and hard work.

The fest featured an enchanting display of French art and culture, including artistic portraits, delectable French cuisine (cuisine française), lively dance (danse), melodious music (musique), and engaging role plays (jeu de rôle). Students and visitors alike were immersed in a truly French experience, saying “Bonjour” (Good day) and “Merci” (Thank you) as they explored the various exhibits.
