Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, continues to uphold its commitment to providing enriching learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom boundaries. In celebration of the institution’s fifth anniversary, a series of educational excursions were organized under the event ‘Cinque,’ aimed at fostering deep understanding, discovery, and cultural appreciation among students.

As part of ‘Cinque,’ Grade 1 students visited the ‘Dev Darshan Dhoop’ factory, where they were introduced to the production and packaging processes of various incense sticks. This firsthand experience provided insight into manufacturing techniques and instilled appreciation for craftsmanship.

Kindergarten students embarked on a captivating journey into Chinese heritage during a visit to a renowned Chinese restaurant. Amidst traditional décor and culinary tools, students immersed themselves in the essence of Chinese culture, enriching their understanding of global diversity.

Toddlers and Grade 2 students embarked on a journey into Japan’s rich heritage during a visit to the ‘Japanese Garden.’ Surrounded by lush greenery and architectural marvels, students were captivated by the beauty of yin-yang symbolism and Buddhist architecture.

Students from Grades 1 and 7 delved into Punjab’s rich musical heritage during a visit to the Music Department at Punjab University, Chandigarh. The experience included witnessing a display of traditional musical instruments, fostering a deeper appreciation for cultural artistry.

Sixth-grade students participated in a two-day candle-making workshop at Deepakriti Institute, Sector 44 Chandigarh. This hands-on experience provided technical skills and encouraged creativity, resulting in the creation of beautiful candles suitable for decoration.

Seventh-grade students engaged in culinary exploration at Hyatt Centric, Chandigarh. Through live kitchen demonstrations and hands-on Italian cooking sessions, students not only learned about hospitality but also experienced the fusion of education and gastronomy.

Eighth-grade students embarked on an educational field trip to the Art College in Chandigarh, immersing themselves in the world of creativity. Through observation and experimentation, students explored ancient sculptures and paintings, fostering a profound connection with artistic expression.
