Campaigning For Student Council Election

“Democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.”-Harry Emerson

The establishment of a Student Council is a great opportunity for the students to acquire the sort of communication, planning

and organizational skills which will be beneficial to them inn their future.

Student Council Elections were held at MRIS-21C. The council election was a two-day process. The students from all the houses filed their nomination for various positions. The students on the first day began their campaigning for their respective posts.

The contenders for various coveted positions read out their manifestos and made attractive posters to persuade the students as well as the teachers with the right agendas and convince that they are the right choice for the positions.

Every candidate created unique posters and videos to communicate his or her idea in a clear, concise and creative manner.

This helped train our future voters and acquaint them with the nation’s electoral system.
