1. Meeting the new demands of a media literate society, the school has taken full recourse to an entirely new online pulpit to deliver thoughtful practitioner-based learning through Microsoft Teams.
2. The tools provided have enabled educators and learners in experiencing the ambience of a traditional classroom while sitting safe within the confines of their homes.
3. The educators have indoctrinated the students about the new pedagogy and practices. Resource material and PowerPoint presentations are conjointly shared with all students via Teams which aid in construing the concepts taught effectively.
4. Assignments are shared after the completion of every concept to strengthen learning and optimize exposure.
5. In an attempt to embrace this new culture, flipped classroom model, a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter, is also introduced.
6. Being a proud advocate of inculcating a multidimensional skill set in our students, life skills classes in diverse disciplines viz. Fine Arts, Dance, Theatre, Music are also conducted to satiate our learners’ thirst for knowledge beyond books. It ensures stress free creative engagement for holistic growth of the young spirits.
7. Assessment, being a key contributor in evaluating the students’ comprehension of the subject matter, has also been given due importance. Objective and Subjective Tests are being conducted in the most rightful manner with parents in the role of invigilators at home.
8. To address uncertainties pertaining to COVID-19 and career related anxiety, the school also engages the students in a dialogue with highly qualified in-house counsellors who help ease out their concerns and dole out undiluted conscientious advice.
