Retired from Haryana Government as a Dy. Director Sports. Graduate in Sports International Cricket Coach up to level 4. Chief Coach of the Indian Jr. Cricket team 1995-2003 and won the Jr. cricket World cup for India at England Lords in 1996 defeated Pakistan in the final.
Coach of the Haryana Ranji team for 10 years and won the Ranji trophy for Haryana (National Championship) in 1991-1992 at Mumbai. Played for Haryana, Punjab, North zone in Ranji trophy Duleep trophy and International matches for 20 years and got 358 wickets and score 2000 runs. In 1985 awarded country best bowler at Mumbai got highest wickets 45 in the 8 Ranji matches. Awarded best country cricket coach in 1996-1997 after winning the world cup at England.
Got Bhim award (Haryana state best player award) in 1983-84 at Haryana Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh and also Nominated for Darona Charya award in 1996-97.
BCCI awarded life time performance achievement award with
Rs 30,00,000 in 2012. Presently working with Manav Rachna Educational Instituion as Director, Sports.
