Our students at MRIS Mohali firmly believe in this thought and have volunteered to adopt and adapt to a life based on zero waste. The ambassadors of Eco-moulds club have toiled for the last few months to curate “Sustainableopedia – a guide to sustainable living” under the guidance of their mentors and Principal, Mrs. Taruna Vashisht.
This toolkit was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sanyogita Sharma, Director Schools MRIS recently amidst great fanfare and celebrations hosted online by MRIS Mohali. The ceremony was also graced by a special guest, Ms. Shuchi Gupta, a renowned environmentalist of the tricity. Contemporary dance on “Conservation”, a self-written poem and a song on Sustainability and a speech by an Ambassador of the Eco Moulds club were part of the celebrations. The efforts of the young students were lauded by the Chief guest and their vision to promote Zero Waste living was appreciated by all.
