Negotiating the adolescent stage is neither quick nor easy. To add to it is the trauma of lockdown and social distancing, and we witness an adolescent feeling trapped in the digital cocoon, unable to stretch his wings and fly.
Second-year into the Pandemic and the emotional strain continues to go unaddressed. Being highly vulnerable, it is imperative to boost their mental health and well-being.
To cater to these issues and give voice to them, Manav Rachna International School, Sector-46, Gurugram, held a workshop on “DEALING WITH CHANGES IN ADOLESCENTS BEHAVIOR DURING PANDEMIC” by Dr. Aleena Ali who is an Art based therapist working with Fortis Health Memorial Research Institute.
This gave the children a platform to voice their concerns and overcome their anxiety and apprehensions.
