‘A lackadaisical approach will produce lackadaisical results.’

The new normal has been very well adapted by all. It has brought about a lot of positive changes and challenges it especially for students. One such challenge is a decrease in interest and motivation for online sessions.

To address this, a session on ‘Lackadaisical’-lacking in spirit or liveliness or motivation was conducted for students across grades 3-5. A person with a lackadaisical attitude shows no enthusiasm and puts forth a half-hearted effort.

MRIS-51 Gurugram always strives to find out ways how the students can be made self-sufficient and reliant in all aspects. The issues related to lack of interest, self-esteem, safety, and self-growth are time and again addressed. The session emphasized the reasons for this attitude, how to identify it, and strategies to cope with it.

The students discussed it with a lot of interest as they could relate to it. The activity helped the students reflect on times when they showed a lackadaisical attitude and how they overcome it.
