As a part of the ongoing IPC theme ‘Let’s Pretend’, Toddlers, Nursery and KG students of MRIS-51, Gurugram visited the Fire Station recently. They expanded their knowledge about one of the most important community helpers- the firefighters. They saw how firefighters use their fire truck in an emergency. The firefighters showed them different equipment used by them and demonstrated the use of a hose pipe. Children were ecstatic when they saw a firefighter in the proper uniform. Filled with curiosity, the students asked many questions which were answered by the firefighters. The firefighters were surprised by children’s awareness of emergency. It was a fun-filled, yet informative experience.
