Monika Mukh, Librarian, MRIS Mohali bagged second position in Best Poster Award category at International Conference on Digital Landscape: Digital Transformation for an Agile Environment held at the ‘India Habitat Centre’, New Delhi.

She presented a poster on ‘Information E-resources for Generation Alpha: MRIS library as an Information Resource Centre’.

The conference was organized by TERI in collaboration with multiple governments, corporate and private organizations and focused on stretching the recommendation of generation and usage of data and technologies in libraries to meet the Sustainable Development Goals in future, with the theme of Digital Transformation for an Agile Environment.

The conference was attended by over 40 international speakers, more than 560 delegates and participants from across the globe.

Mukh’s Poster Presentation on ‘Innovative Practices at MRIS Library’ was reviewed by 10 panelists who came from different countries and different profiles. The concept of ‘Human Library’ presented by her was also applauded by these panelists.

She also grabbed a surprise gift after winning a quiz in the same event.
