Diwali festivities began at MRIS, Mohali this week with the Clan activities for Diya decoration. All the little ones participated in various other activities to enthusiastically decorate the corridors and evoke the festive feeling. The celebration mood was complemented by eco-friendly Rangoli presentations using recycled colours and sawdust.

The children prepared colourful lanterns, hangings and life sized diya crafts to immerse their surroundings in the Diwali spirit. They pledged to celebrate a green and clean Diwali to support the cause for a pollution free environment. The highlights of the week were the breathtaking ‘Diwali Bash’ performances that had everyone awestruck and swaying to happy tunes.
