The students from, Grade I – VII of Manav Rachna International School , Sector 21 C Faridabad exhibited their Mathematical magnificence through the Inter Class Mental Math Quiz—– Mathelete — 2019. Mental Math is essential because it lays the foundation for more complex Math.

With an aim of providing a challenging and engaging Mathematical experience which is both competitive and educational, the Third Annual Mathelete Competition for Grades I-VII was organized. Inter-Class Mathelete was conducted to improve student’s mental math skills in four key areas Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Grade-I did wonderful activities based on the concept of place value of 3-digit numbers.

Inter Class Mathelete had participants from different teams namely- Math Pirates, Math Avengers, Number Ninjas and Number Samurai. There were four rounds namely- Dodge the dart/ Guess who am I?, I Spy/ Rake the Brain, Visual Round and Rapid Fire Round.

The event turned out to be a huge success where the students actively participated in a very proactive environment which gave everyone a reason to believe that —“If you’re going to limit your dreams, at least tend them to infinity.”
