“Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.”
– Jackie Chan
Being kind not only has a direct effect on others, but it has a positive impact on us as well. Students of MRIS-51, Gurugram are learning soft skills as part of their curriculum. They are taught to use kindness in their life. Keeping the same in mind, Aarav Soni of Grade II visited an Old Age Home along with his parents and got to know about elderly people who need help and service. He greeted everyone and got delighted after getting sweet responses from those smiling faces. Aarav talked to them and shared groceries with them. This gesture of sharing and caring brought cheerfulness on his face and a sort of satisfaction of implementing his soft skills’ learning with others. He was appreciated by Mr. Ravi Kalra, President & Founder of the Old-Age home with a trophy and certificate. Indeed, kindness is one of the greatest attributes that someone can have. There are a variety of ways to express it. Together, we can make the world a better place with acts of kindness.
