Our student Kartik Singh of Grade III C is a world champion now!
In the US Kids Junior Golf World Championship conducted at Tanjong Puteri, Malaysia from Dec 19 – Dec 21, 2018 Kartik emerged champion in boys 8 year category.
The tournament had some of the best junior golfers from across the globe including Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand etc.
He put up 3 consecutive rounds of 34, 39, and 36 to win with a comfortable margin of four strokes over his closest rival from Thailand. This was Kartik’s first appearance at the prestigious Malaysian world championship. We wish him success in the years to come.
