The second installation ceremony of Interact Club of MRIS, Charmwood was held under the aegis of Rotary Club Greater Faridabad recently, wherein the outgoing Student President exchanged collar with the incoming President. The ceremony commenced with the National Anthem followed by the lamp lighting. The school choir sung motivational songs giving true meaning to the ceremony.

Eminent Rotarians and guests were welcomed and felicitated by the school Headmistress (EY) Ms. Gunjan, Academic Coordinators, Ms. Shahzadi Agarwal and Ms. Manu Vijayan and Club Incharges, Ms. Preeti Taneja and Ms. Srishti Gulati.

The outgoing President, Masirah Khan highlighted achievements of the club during the session 2017-18 like Tree Plantation, Dastkar Craft Mela, Blood Donation, Computer Literacy classes for underprivileged students and senior citizens, etc. She passed the responsibilities to this year’s President Jayant Bhalla. Later, the President and Vice President presented the projects for the session 2018-19.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest District Governor, Rtn. Vinay Bhatia congratulated the newly installed President and the team for taking over. He encouraged the students and made them aware of the rotary theme of the year “Be the inspiration”.

Rtn. Sanjay Gera, President of Sponsoring, Rotary Club of Faridabad Greater appreciated the projects done by the club and assured his complete support. District Interact Chair Past President Rtn. Gaurav Ahuja encouraged the interactors to give their best and make this year an extraordinary one.

The interactors took an oath which was administered by Rtn. Sanjay Gera, the President of Rotary Faridabad Greater motivating the students to be more inclined towards serving the society for a better future.

The members of the Rotary Club also contributed towards the permanent project “Share if you care” wall.

Interact Club Incharge, Ms. Preeti Taneja, thanked the members of Rotary Club and motivated the students to work diligently towards the betterment of the community.
