Road Safety Awareness Campaign

Road safety awareness starts at home and in school at an early age. Parents and teachers are usually the ones guiding the children through the various road traffic rules and regulations. In this endeavour to teach and explain road safety and traffic rules to students, an activity was organized, wherein the set up of the road with different road signs was created. Students were explained how and when to cross the road, the various street signs, the three colours of traffic lights and what they stand for. Children learnt new vocabulary words like- No parking, U-turn, zebra crossing, etc. They also learnt names of different types of road transports. These road safety rules for kids will go a long way in helping them acquire the skills needed to be secure and guarded pedestrians.
