Manav Rachna International School, Noida organized JYB-2018 (Jarr Your Brilliance), an MRIS Quiz League-2018 on 26th October, 2018. This inter-school quiz competition saw participation of 35 schools from Delhi/NCR, out of which 8 schools cleared the Preliminary round and qualified for the Finale. The event commenced on an auspicious note with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. Principal Ms. Nindiya Saket welcomed the Chief Guests- Ms. Sanyogita Sharma (Director- MRIS and Faculty of Education, MRU), the esteemed Quiz Masters- Mr. Nitesh Mr. Nitesh, Sr. Manager, Verbal & Soft Skills, MRCMC; and Ms. Aditi (Trainer on employability skills, MRCMC) and Mr. Lovkesh Magu, Executive Director of the school. She lauded the students for the overwhelming participation and advised them to pursue their goals with grit and determination.

The quiz was organized in two categories- Young Achievers (for Grades VI- VIII) and Innovators (for Grades IX-XI). There were 5 rounds including, General Round, Audio Round, Visual Round, Rapid Fire Round and Tod, Fod, Jod Round. All the winners of the preliminary round were tested on their general knowledge, scientific temper, literary acumen, mathematical ingenuity, logical reasoning and current affairs. Prizes were given to audience for giving correct answers in the passing rounds. For the last round, i.e. the Tod, Fod, Jod, students used their skills and knowledge to make a circuit.

The students of Pragyan School, Greater Noida bagged the first position, while the students of Nehru International Public School Noida were the runners up in the Category of ‘Young Achievers’. In the second category, ‘Innovators’, the team from Ryan International School, Noida stood first, while for the runners’ up title, there was a tie between The Khaitan School, Noida and MRIS, Noida. Rolling trophies were given to the winning teams of both the categories that will come back to the host school after six months. All the participating students were also felicitated.

Adding to the joyful occasion of celebration, the primary students of MRIS Noida performed Giddha -a scintillating foot tapping dance. The event culminated with a motivational speech by Ms. Sanyogita Sharma and a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Nindiya Saket.
