MRIS Mohali had the second session of Clap Talk in the campus. The students of Grades 4-7 interacted with Mr Lobsang Dondhup, a Tibetan and enjoyed a sneak peek into the life and culture of Tibet. The traveler who is a social worker shared glimpses of his country and life through a powerpoint presentation.
Students shared experiences and facts with the traveler about the two countries and also exchanged postcards with personalized messages.
The talk helped in understanding of the political situation of Tibet. The traveler also shared facts about culture and traditions of his country, and reinforced the commonalities, respect for unique features, and fostering understanding between the two countries .
