More than 400 units of blood collected at Mega Blood Donation Camp

More than 400 units of blood was collected at ‘4th Mega Blood Donation Camp’ organized by Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana in association with Rehras Seva Society and Can Fight Cancer in the school premises today.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Sh. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, ‘Chief Guest’ for the day. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal highlighted the importance of blood donation which can help save thousands of lives. He appreciated the volunteers for contributing to the noble cause and applauded the School Management and staff for organizing the camp. Ludhiana residents turned out in encouraging numbers to donate blood.

The students presented ‘Nukkad Natak’ emphasizing the importance of the noble deed of blood donation which gifts hope to people and community.

Mr. Gaurav Rai, Executive Director, MRIS- Gurugram & Ludhiana expressed that he was overwhelmed to witness the enthusiasm of the donors. He thanked one and all present there for always supporting the school in every venture that the school undertakes.

Also present were Dr. Roopali Trehan, Director of the school; Dr. Rajinder Trehan, S. Jaswant Singh Chappa and Principal, Dr. Rupali Saini.
