Winter carnival, Christmas celebration and with New year round the corner, festivity is in the air. And to fully enjoy the festive season, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana organized Christmas Carnival on 22nd December 2018. All the parents, guardians, friends and students gathered at the school premises to celebrate, to enjoy and to be happy. MRIS, Ludhiana welcomed everyone to this joyful celebration of colour, lights, music and dance.
At the entry the beautifully decorated Bugghi’s were stationed where parents and students were given a complimentary ride and further, each one was given a take away craft and a complimentary raffle ticket to try their luck and be the Christmas lucky draw winner.
The entire ground buzzed with various activities like trampoline, bungee jumping, 3D doodling, Robo race, etc. The pottery corner was the most happening corner where in the students tried their hands making pots, vases etc. Various food stalls were set up with lip smacking food. More than 750 people were a part of the MRIS Christmas Carnival and Lucky 30 Raffle tickets were drawn out of the total number of the Raffle tickets. The lucky 30 winners played the musical chair and further lucky 3 were declared the winners of the Christmas Bumper Prize.
A Charity counter was laid where parents donated gifts to be donated at the orphanage.
Fun and frolic along with music and the charming Santa in the campus completely took over the zeal among students was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet to the traditional music too!
Principal Dr. Rupali Saini exhorted the students to take a resolution of helping the needy and thanked the parents for being a part of the Carnival. She wished each one Merry Christmas and said let Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill.
