“Childhood is a kingdom where everybody lives.”

Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana has always been meticulous about the fact that the students live every day of their lives joyfully. A ‘Special assembly’ was organized to make the kids feel special and loved on the theme ‘Reliving Childhood’. ‘The Nukkad Natak – Bachpan’ made the students reminisce their childhood memories. Teachers gathered huge applause of the students.

The celebration was integrated with a life skill so that the kids inherit the value of empathy and compassion. A ‘Community kitchen’ was organized with the objective of ‘Each one, feed one’ wherein each class offered food to one support staff of the school.

A ventriloquist act was displayed on the theme of ‘Peppa Pig coming to MRIS’ with the message of being a nature lover and less use of gadgets every day. To escalate this sentiment, an oath for a ‘Gadget free hour’ was taken by the students wherein they pledged to remain gadget free from 7:30pm to 8:30 pm today. This initiative was taken by tying up with the ‘Leaners’ Confluence’ in association with ‘The Parent Circle’.

A host of surprises and activities were planned by the teachers in their respective class rooms. The assembly concluded with the address by Ms. Anju Dhawan, Principal, MRIS, Ludhiana wherein she shared her childhood experiences and told the students to enjoy the spirit of their childhood with innocence and exuberance. The fun-filled day and excitement came to an end with loads of joy and happiness sparkling in the eyes of the students.
