‘The world is beautiful because of its natural resources, so it is our duty to preserve it.’

The students of Grade X Darwin and Archimedes MRIS, Mayfield Gardens, Sec-51, Gurugram presented an assembly on the online platform to celebrate THE WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY recently. The assembly began with the Gayatri Mantra followed by the thought, word of the day, and a brief introduction on the World nature conservation day to increase awareness about the best practices to protect our natural resources.

A foot-tapping dance was presented by the students to depict the importance of this day.

Students made beautiful placards to spread awareness on conservation of our resources like water, energy, wildlife etc. An inspiring and beautiful self-composed poem was recited by Sadhna Sharma. The Principal motivated the students for practicing sustainable living by bringing about small changes in their everyday lives that can go a long way in preserving the planet. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
