An Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of newly admitted students of MRIS-51 Gurugram with the objective to familiarize them with the vision and the mission of the school, the curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching strategies and co-scholastic activities.

The program commenced with a warm welcome to the parents, followed by the ceremonial watering of the Banana plant. Principal Ms. Alpana Baveja addressed the august gathering giving them an insight into the assets and the learning system of MRIS-51 laying emphasis on the blend of excellence in academics, innovation, sports, performing arts, personal growth and human values. She also gave guidelines about effective parenting and suggested different measures to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future which gave them an assurance that the curriculum involves self-directed, hands-on learning activities which not only give vent to their creative talents and energies but also help in their all-round development of the child. Mrs. Poonam Ahuja, Senior Manager, HR & Admin educated the parents on the Fee Structure and the School Transport System which is an integral part of the School System.

Overall, it was a fruitful meeting and the parents were in high spirits after attending the orientation programme.
