MRIS-51 conducted an Inter-School event ‘TALENTHON 2020’ that comprised of a plethora of live events conducted on the virtual platform recently. One such event was the ‘LIVE SPEECH AS CHARACTERS’ for Grade IX and X. Students from different schools across NCR participated in the same.

Students had to define any character of their choice imitating him/her looking at their background, heritage, their choices, upbringing, mannerisms and expressions, the society they belong to and portray them as real characters as they speak in front of a large audience. The event saw the students bubbling with enthusiasm to showcase their creativity, oratory skills and command over the language, spontaneity and their hidden talent.

The event was extremely interesting and engrossing as the students displayed an excellent diction, use of emotion and fantastic gestures of the character they portrayed. They lived the roles of Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam and the first women President of India Smt. Prathiba Patel, The newly elected president of America Joe Biden and many more. Overall, this platform proved to be a great stage for the students to hone their skills. All the participants were applauded by the Principal Ms. Alpana Baveja for their exuberant performances.
