MRIS-51 Gurugram celebrated International Yoga Day with great zeal with our students, parents and teachers online.

Various yoga postures and asanas including Pranayam and Suryanamaskar were practiced and performed online by the yoga instructor Ms Aarti. Parents, Students and Teachers were enlightened on the benefits of yoga, yogic exercises, recharging the body with cosmic energy and promoting the self-healing process. Students were also made to understand how Yoga helps in attaining focus and concentration and why it is essential for mental and physical well-being.

Different yoga postures like Trikonaasana, Gomukhasan, Sarvangasana, Tadaasan, Bhujangasana were performed keeping in mind the diverse audience that consisted of children as well as adults.

 

The yoga session saw the highest participation of any single session so far. This was a great achievement for MRIS-51, Gurugram and proved to be an enriching day for the students, teachers and parents alike.
