‘Teacher’s Day was celebrated at MRIS-51 Gurugram with a lot of enthusiasm and fun. It was a day to thank, appreciate and express gratitude to the Gurus of knowledge. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class VIII to felicitate their teachers. The assembly started with a speech by the school Head Girl highlighting the contribution of a teacher in a student’s life followed by a brief talk on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishan as this day is dedicated to him.

Each teacher was made to feel special as they welcomed them with beautiful handmade cards and by playing their favourite songs which related to their personality. Both the teachers and the students enjoyed and had a great time together. Nonetheless, the Early Years students also had their own novel way to show their love and respect for their teachers.

Nursery Titans took to centre stage and delivered a touching teacher’s day program. They expressed their deep regards with a dance performance which was dedicated to their teachers and presented the Role of the Teachers act.

The students came dressed as their teachers and danced to the tunes of songs specially dedicated to their wonder teachers. It was a proud moment to witness such beautiful performances by our young minds.

Principal, Ms. Pooja Puri thanked the teachers for their diligence, sincerity and hard work. The day ended with a special program of fun-filled activities for teachers
