MRIS-46 students got a wonderful opportunity to visit the happiest nation in the world- Bhutan. The visit aimed to bring them close to the Bhutanese rich culture, understanding of Buddhism and Gross Happiness Index. The trip covered the cities Thimphu, Paro and Punakha. Other places that the student group explored included a guided tour at Royal Thimphu College, Takin Preservation Centre, Buddha Temple, Tiger’s Nest, King’s Memorial Chorten, Punakha Dzong among others. A special concert was organised for the student group and it aimed to bring them closer to the exquisite Bhutanese culture. Students also enjoyed shopping in the streets of Thimphu and Paro.
