A collaborative learning experience was organized by Manav Rachna International School, in association with SK ST Patrick, Sabah, and SK Gemereh, Johor, Malaysia for the first time on a virtual platform. The session was an exchange of ideas, culture, thoughts and views.
The day commenced with a warm welcome accorded to all by Ms. Geeta Sharma, Co-ordinator, Middle Wing as she highlighted the absolute privilege of being a part of the exchange. It was followed by an address by Dr. Suchitra Bhattacharya, Principal, Manav Rachna international School, Charmwood. She extended a warm welcome to all present. She motivated all to be good human beings and wished all the young learners good luck. It was followed by an address by the guests Ms. Noor Julaiha & Ms. Nirmaladevi Kandasamy from Malaysia.
It was followed by a tour of the beautiful school to give glimpses of the life offered at Manav Rachna International School. Head Boy of the school shared his impressions on ‘What Covid has taught him’. Simrah Zakib of Grade 1 presented a beautiful poem on ‘Nature’.
The highlight of the show, however, was ‘Symposium’, a presentation by the talented students of MRIS, Charmwood. The teacher and students of SK ST Patrick showcased a presentation that described their hometown Tawau.
A teacher and a student from SK Gemereh, Johor, Malaysia organized a story-telling session.
The event culminated with a foot-tapping performance by the students of MRIS, Charmwood and vote of thanks by Ananya Senger.
It was appreciated by all present as it gave students an opportunity to interact with their friends from Malaysia, and learn and know more from them.
